Cash Donations

During its 9 years of operation, the Mason Woods Charitable Foundation, Inc. donated gift cards in the following areas:

• Food and gas gift cards for cancer families
• Crafts and supplies for use on the Oncology floor at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio
• Along with Raising Cane's Chicken, Mason's Foundation serves a meal to all patients, families, and staff on the Oncology floor at Nationwide Children's Hospital on the first Tuesday night of each month.
• The foundation, along with the Childhood Cancer Family Connection, sponsors a free "Santa Shop" each year for inpatients on the Oncology floor so that patients can choose and wrap gifts to give to their families without leaving the hospital to shop!
• Volunteers with Mason's Foundation conduct "jewelry making events" each month with inpatients and families, which gives them time out of their room to do something fun!

Material Donations

Material donations have historically been a large component of the Mason Woods Charitable Foundation, Inc. While there is no way to put a dollar value on these goods, my estimate for donated goods during the past five years would be well over $250,000!

We accept donations of new goods from corporations, schools, churches, and other groups. These items such as video games, DVD’s, board games, books, card games, crafts, toys, craft kits, and personal care products make a child’s stay at the hospital much more tolerable!
